My Story.
I’m often asked how Kincannon Photography came to be.
When I was seven years old, I lost my only sister. As I grew older, I realized I didn’t have a single tangible photograph of the two of us together. That absence stayed with me. Over time, I found myself taking photos with the people I loved—out of a quiet fear of not having something to hold onto if I lost someone again.
In 2010, when I lost my uncle to suicide, I searched desperately for a photograph of us together. When I finally found one, I was surprised by the peace it brought me during a season of deep grief. One photograph—something so simple—meant everything.
Within five months of losing my uncle, I started Kincannon Photography. From the beginning, my mission was clear: to help families and couples have tangible photographs of the people they love—photographs they can hold, see, and return to on both the good days and the hard ones.
Today, our studio photographs weddings and families throughout the country, supported by a trusted associate team. While our reach has grown, the heart behind our work remains the same—to create finished photographs that live in homes, not on hard drives.

For weddings outside of our home base, Orange County, CA, you have two options:
• Have me photograph your wedding, which includes my travel fees.
• Choose one of my associate photographers, allowing you to avoid travel costs since I have trusted associates located in each state.
Each associate photographer is an experienced professional I personally select to photograph weddings using the same style and approach as I do. No matter which option you choose, I personally edit every image, so your final gallery remains consistent with my work and the quality my studio is known for.
If you choose an associate and would like to meet them ahead of time, we can schedule a Zoom call where we all hop on zoom together and connect before the wedding. You are also welcome to book an engagement session with your associate a few months before the wedding so you feel comfortable and confident working together before your big day.
