Family Portraits in Santa Monica

 I got the chance to meet a great family a few weeks ago! The energy they have is just amazing. They were so much fun to be around and really soaked up the experience.

Although, I always have plenty of fun images to capture with interesting poses or ideas, I love when my clients have an idea in mind and give me feedback or just say, “Hey, can we do a picture like this?” My response is always, “ABSOLUTELY!” haha.

It’s so much fun when my clients interact with me and I’m able to make them feel at ease while snapping away. One of the reasons I love when families come up with ideas, or even poses that they want to try is because this session is about them and I feel that it’s important to document who they are by incorporating what they want to do. These are their images that they are going to have for a lifetime and family portraits they are going to be hanging in their home. This was one of those poses that the The Herrman Family wanted to try out, aren’t they amazing?!
