Head Shots in San Juan Capistrano
Being an event photographer, I get the pleasure of meeting a ton of people. One person that I met was Melody. Melody came to me in desperate need to get some new head shots.

After 90-minutes of shooting in San Juan Capistrano, a few outfit swaps, and a little bit of walking, we finally called it a wrap and walked away with some really gorgeous head shot images. There’s a few in here where I just love the way the lighting turned out! There’s so much more emotion, feeling, and personality that comes through on-location head shots as oppose to the traditional, backdrop images.

This San Juan Capistrano head shot session definitely tested my editing skills. Melody wanted “The Works” in terms of editing. I normally do not “Shave off pounds, wrinkles, etc.” I like leaving people just the way they are, because to me, people are beautiful even if they have certain parts about themselves that they’re not a fan of. She really wanted this type of editing for her head shots, so I figured, why not. All in all, I am so proud of how these head shots turned out. I stayed up way late, and spent countless hours making sure these were ready on time for Melody since she needed them on such short notice, and I definitely made the deadline, while learning a ton of different editing techniques.
