DIY Photo Display

Displaying your photos in your home can be fun and exciting! Having your precious photographs on display for all to see can either have people saying “Oh my gosh! Those are beautiful!” or, “Yikes, why’d you put your photos like that?” To help your home always look it’s best in terms of hanging your portraits, here are ten unique ways to show off your beautiful portraits in a do-it-yourself fashion!

• Pin twine to the wall in a random but connected pattern and then use clothespins to attach the photos! This works great for polaroid photos, or the photos you post on Instagram.

• Take different sized pieces of PVC pipe and wrap your photos around them. Attach the bottom to a painted board and place some flowers inside of it for an easy-to-make, personalized vase!

• How to display your photos at a party, you ask? When displaying photos at a party create a balloon chandelier! Fill the balloon with helium and attach photos to the bottom of the string to float about the room! Now, how’s that for party decor?

• Use a large empty picture frame to display your photos! Take the glass out of a picture frame and attach several pieces of string across it and then attach your photos using clothespins to them!

• Wanting a rustic look for hanging your photos? Hang a branch on the wall and add some white strings with photos attached at the end!

• Ready to display your travel photos? Hang a large map on the wall and attach a string from the location on one end, and the photographs from the location on the other end. You can even pin each photograph of each place you’ve traveled. Be sure to keep the photos small.

• Are you one of those people who love putting random objects in your house? Use an old bicycle wheel! Hang an antique bike wheel on the wall and pin your photos to the spokes with clothespins.

• Find some old fashion bottle and stick your photos in them for a fun new perspective!

• Use some old clipboards to display your photos by hanging the boards on the wall and attaching the photo!

• Create your own bunting for a party by cutting some photos into triangles and attaching a rope to each one!
