How to Choose the Perfect Photographer for your wedding day!

We all know this is just one of the many biggest decisions you’ll make on your wedding day.

Choosing the right photographer for your wedding day is SO important. In this day of everyone being able to afford a camera, and being known as a “photographer”, choosing a professional is highly important. That’s why we’ve created a list to help you ease into choosing the perfect photographer that fits your needs.

1. Decide what style you’re looking for! Would you rather a storytelling style that uses candids rather than many posed photos? Or are you looking for more wedding album style photos with less spontaneity?
2. Do the work! Look at recent views from as many brides in your area as you can find.
3. Set up interviews! Make time to talk to many different photographers before you decide on one. Have questions prepared, and be ready to take notes!
4. Look at some other wedding albums and photos! Take some inspiration from some completed albums and shoots to get a few different ideas and perspectives.
5. Get the details of how the shoot will take place! Be versed on where the photographer will be positioned and what (if anything) they need you to do!
6. Get the post production information beforehand! You don’t want to spend your honeymoon concerned about the progress of your wedding photos! Discuss with your photographer beforehand the details and the timeline so that you can enjoy yourselves!
