Baby Girl Kincannon has arrived!

Almost every morning for the last 40 weeks and two days started with, “Do I get my baby today?” by our four year old. Since he found out I was pregnant he’s said, “Mama, it’s going to be a girl. Her name is going to be Elisabeth”. When we found out she was in fact a girl, he said, “I told you it was a girl.”

As my four year old and I ventured to the doctor I was told I would be induced that day due to pre-hypertension. Seeing as I was induced the first time I definitely enjoyed knowing what to expect and when I’d be going into labor.

Matthew (our four year old) stayed with me until Jeremiah got to the hospital. We watched Paw Patrol, took pictures, monitored the baby and as each nurse would come in the room, you’d here Matthew say, “I get to meet my sister today!”

He was SO excited.

The pregnancy was fast and furious, and although we had the name Makenzie Elisabeth picked out but when she arrived it just didn’t fit.

We are so excited to welcome Genevieve Elisabeth Kincannon into our family.

We’ll share more portraits, but for now, here’s the day Matthew met his sister.
