Bob Donnell’s Headshots in Newport Beach

Last week J & I had the opportunity to head to the Next Level Beach House and take a few headshots of one of our favorite people.

Bob Donnell is not only the Founder of Everything Next Level, but he’s also the granddad of our son and the person we get to call our Dad & Father-in-Law.

Needless to say, after 2 years of Bob Donnell not having updated headshots, I was excited to document his headshots in Newport Beach, California.

Throughout these headshots in Newport Beach, you’ll be able to see all of the things I love about these images, the vivid color, the sharpness, and the crazy bokeh (aka blurred background).

There was minimal editing that went into these Newport Beach headshots. All of our images are hand-edited, meaning that no presets were used. Which when you think about it is just crazy awesome because the things I love most from this Newport Beach headshot session were the things that turned out exactly how they were shot in the camera, without editing.

Although Bob Donnell walked away with about one hundred different headshots, we’re just going to blog a few of our favorites. Surely there are many, many more!

I love this image. You can see Catalina Island if you look closely! This is perfect for a meme.

Part of the reason we shot this headshot session was not only for headshots but also so he could use some of these images for memes and so forth.

When I shoot headshots, I always recommend multiple outfit changes. It can sometimes be a hassle to carry multiple outfits but in the end. It’s always worth it!

This one below is one of my personal favorites! I love that this image was taken with a darker background, leaving Bob Donnell standing out just a tad more, and the detail this image has.
