What to do with a CD of pictures

What to do with a disk of images

When you are all done with your session with your photographer and you have finally gotten all of your images handed to you on a CD or DVD, you may be tempted to look at them on the computer, then store it away for when you want to print some prints to hang around the house. Let’s explore some other ways that you can use those digital images that makes perfect sense!

#1 Get the dogs involved

You wouldn’t believe how excited dogs get when they see your digital images! The smooth, shiny outer covering of the CD captivates their attention and when you throw that CD like a frisbee at the dog park, they will have hours of fun, just running around and catching their new found toy in their mouths. If you have a smaller dog, simply as your photographer to please put the images on a flash drive, so that your little Sophie the Chihuahua can catch it in her mouth when you’re playing.

#2 Reflect on your images

I’ve seen some beautiful digital images, but having the right lighting is always key to getting the most out of them. I find it works best if you get multiple copies of your digital images on different CDs, this way you can string all of the CDs together and create a lovely backyard wind chime. The best part? It reflects the sun and warms up your back yard. Who says a CD of images are cold and impersonal….*scoff*

#3 Wall Decorations

Are the walls in your home bare and lifeless? Why? Is it because you haven’t printed those images you have on your CD that is sitting in a drawer somewhere collecting dust?

Well, worry no more! Here is an immediate solution. Just take out your CDs and nail them to the wall in your home. If you group them together, you could even create a beautiful mirror effect — and who doesn’t like mirrors.

In Conclusion

This article is all meant to be a joke, in case you haven’t picked up on that already.
