Before the Engagement Photo Session

We recently photographed this duo for their proposal session. Alex commissioned us to come out and document his fiance saying “Yes!” You can see more of their {proposal photography session} on the link.

Location for Engagement Session

This was a stunning Redwood Forest engagement session in Orange County filled with trees for miles and miles, along with a hiking and bike trail. It was easy to see how in love these two were throughout their session. These two chose the location because of their love for nature and the fact that it was different than any other typical engagement photography session location in Orange County, California.

Upon Arriving to the Engagement Photo Session

Once they arrived to their session they surprised me with a beautiful glass travel coffee mug, an iced tea, AND a starbucks gift card. It was so sweet of them, I couldn’t believe it.

It was such a blast documenting these two love birds, who met in band and have been together ever since!

They met in middle school. K saw Alex enter the room and immediately knew.. He liked her, or so she thought.. each day she’d go up to him and say, “I know you like me” followed by Alex having no idea what she meant.. day after day and week after week K knew what Alex didn’t know.. he liked her. Their friendship developed into a relationship which developed into her saying YES to a surprise proposal in Los Angeles.
