A sweet Engagement Session in San Juan Capistrano

I was so excited to meet these two. Chelsea and Jeff have the perfect love story. Falling in love in college at Cal State University of Fullerton. Starting out as classmates, then working together on a project, followed by carpools, lunch and dinner here and there, then, “So, I like you, and I think you like me. Will you be my girlfriend?” Of course she said, “yes”. After 4 years of dating he took her to the Los Angeles Art Museum, got down on one knee and asked her to be by his side for the rest of his life. All of their family and friends were there to whip out their phones, ipads, etcetera and document the moment she said, “yes!”.

Chelsea and Jeff were gifted a session by Chelsea’s hairstylist, Amber Barath. Knowing what a wonderful person Amber is, I just couldn’t wait to meet Chelsea. After a few phone calls of planning the session with Chelsea, the day came and I got the chance to meet them in person and document their one of a kind engagement session in the beautiful city of San Juan Capistrano.

Being around Jeff and Chelsea, you can’t help but notice how in love they are. They are so appreciative, caring and kind to one another. You can tell they love to have fun. They warmed up so quickly with having just met me, and let me tell you, Chelsea is a champion at walking in wedges throughout Open Fields of San Juan Capistrano. I don’t know how she did it, I would have fell face first, gotten up, and then fallen again, but not her. And, Jeff was there by her side to even give her a few piggyback rides through the field.

I am so glad I was given the chance to meet this sweet couple, document their session and create and design the sweetest Save the Date cards for them!
