As I was heading from Newport Beach to Yorba Linda for A Fullerton Family Photography session, I received a message from Wendy, “Hi, we’re on our way. See you soon!” Knowing that they lived in Yorba Linda, and the photography session was in Fullerton, I was stuck on why they were heading over almost an hour early. As I wrote back, I soon found out that there was a slight mis-read in the e-mail. Although…. I’m pretty sure they just wanted to head over to Fullerton early to hang out with me longer. ;) I’m totally kidding, I was super excited to meet this family and document their family portrait session in the beautiful city of Fullerton as their Fullerton Family Photographer.

As I spoke to Wendy she told me that every year they always did a really fun Christmas card. I instantly thought, this woman is brilliant! With so many people doing those nice, formal, shots for Christmas cards I simply loved her idea of putting a different spin on it. Wait till you see their creative Christmas Cards this year and the photo they did. (I’m not including it in this post; I don’t want to spoil their family surprise).

The R Family was so much fun to document and I’m so glad we had the oppertunity to provide them with beautiful images that they can hand down to their children and grandchildren one day!
