Romantic Southern California Wedding at Kimberly Crest House & Gardens

Redlands, California Wedding Photographer

If you’re searching for a Southern California wedding photographer, an Orange County wedding photographer, or inspiration for a Kimberly Crest House & Gardens wedding, the Bride and Groom’s elegant celebration is a perfect example of how timeless romance and meaningful cultural traditions come together at one of Southern California’s most iconic venues.

A Classic Garden Wedding in Southern California

Bride and Groom were surrounded by lush gardens, historic architecture, and 170+ loved ones at Kimberly Crest House & Gardens in Redlands, California. This venue is known for its European-inspired estate, manicured lawns, and romantic light—making it a dream location for couples planning a refined Southern California wedding.

The day began with getting ready at a private Airbnb in San Bernardino, allowing for intimate, emotional moments before traveling to the venue. One of the most meaningful moments of the morning was Brides’s mother gently combing her hair—an heirloom-style memory that set the tone for a day centered on family and tradition.

First Looks, Veils & Romantic Portraits

After arriving at Kimberly Crest, we moved into first looks and portraits throughout the gardens and grand staircases. The bride requested both solo bridal portraits with and without her veil, along with romantic veil shots with the grooms—classic, elegant images that truly belong in an heirloom album.

Kimberly Crest offers endless portrait locations in one place, which allowed us to create a wide variety of images without rushing. From soft garden paths to dramatic architectural backdrops, it’s one of the reasons this venue is so popular for Southern California weddings.

Ceremony & Family-Focused Coverage

The ceremony took place on the grounds of Kimberly Crest House & Gardens, followed by a carefully organized family portrait session. With a large guest count and extended family on both sides, having a clear family shot list and a day-of coordinator (thank you, Sharon!) ensured everything stayed smooth and stress-free.

As a full-service wedding photography studio, we always prioritize family dynamics and structure—especially for weddings with cultural traditions and large family groups.

Tea Ceremony & Meaningful Traditions

One of the highlights of the evening was the tea ceremony, where Bride and Groom served tea to their parents as a sign of respect, gratitude, and unity. These moments are deeply meaningful and deserve thoughtful, documentary-style coverage that preserves both emotion and tradition.

The reception continued with table greetings, cake cutting, and a joyful bouquet toss paired with the symbolic Red Fate String Cut, ending the night on a celebratory and heartfelt note.
