Be the HERO this Mother’s Day!
Written by: J. Kincannon
So guys, let’s talk for a minute. Have you ever heard your wife say, “I don’t like people taking photos of me”, or have you ever told someone, “Ya know, my wife just doesn’t really like getting pictures done. She likes being behind the camera”. Let me let you in on a little secret…IT’S NOT TRUE! Seriously! Take it from a guy who heard and has said both of those things before. The TRUTH is, she just doesn’t like BAD photos being taken of her. That love of your life and wonderful caretaker of your children WANTS to be in the photos, she just wants to have good ones to look at as well.
Deep down, mom’s truly want to be the ones in the photos.
Let’s get right to it. Mother’s Day is right around the corner. What are you doing for that special woman?
You know how mom is always taking photos? She loves doing it because memories are important to her, but imagine her having to look back and not see any photos of her! Devastating to say the least! Trust me, I’ve witnessed those moments and I’m sure you have too. Not pretty.
The moms often end up as the one documenting the memories. They take the photos, they make scrapbooks, and make sure that their children have pictures to look back on. Mom’s absolutely love the tangible reminders of special memories and captivating moments. After all, this is as little as their children will ever be. They grow up way too fast, right?
This Mother’s Day, why not get mom a gift that lasts longer than perfume or that fake jewelry that’s about to go out of style? She’ll tag that thing so fast on Facebook, and talk about how awesome of a gift you got her. You’ll be the hero.
It’s a gift she’ll never expect. Even if you hate taking photos, book a session just for her and the kids. Or, just suck it up and jump in. After all, she gave birth and I’m sure a photo is less painful than that, right? I know you could probably imagine her saying that exact same thing to you now, couldn’t you. :)
She will never expect it and absolutely fall in love with those special moments you helped create for her of her and her little ones.
She’ll get fabulous photos of herself and people she loves, she gets a break from having to be the one with the camera, AND you will be the amazing, sweet man who gave it all to her. This is a win-win-win situation. Have questions? Not sure how this works, or what to do? Hit ‘contact‘ and we’ll take it from there.
