Sandra Dee Robinson : Equine Photography

So, as I sit here pondering over our Sessions that we have photographed this month I realized that I didn’t even write Sandra Dee Robinsons blog post.

I try to write all of my blogs the night after I photograph the session. This way their session is fresh in my mind. I may not post it until a few weeks down the line, but I at least know that it is written. One of the reasons this wasn’t written the night of, is probably because we didn’t get home until 1:00am! That’s how you know you love being around your Clients.

We just began offering a custom Entrepreneur package. It includes more than just the regular “Head Shot” Session. Although head shots are definitely necessary. Our goal is to get to know you more as a person. Since that’s what people who hire you really want to know. They want to know more about you, what you do, and what they’re missing out on when they don’t hire you. So, with that, we photographed Sandra Dee Robinson’s session. It was unlike any other type of session we have ever documented. We’ve photographed animals, like dogs, whales, seals, etc. However, photographing a horse was something new. All of these images were shot for her new branding and her new website, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with out the images turned out.

Jeremiah and I headed to Calabasas to document this session. We were so privileged to not only see Sandra and her husband again, but to meet Baby Blue and Sparkle. Her sweet, caring, fun, and excited horses. We took went to an open field and they were able to run wild, eat grass and be photographed with their favorite person, Sandra. They were so excited, I could tell. ;)

After our Session we all went out to dinner at Lady Face Ale Companie. With great company and delicious food, it was guaranteed to be a late night. Luckily we had a babysitter for Matthew (my little Macchiato) and the dogs had the house to themselves. I’m pretty sure they threw a party, because when we came back they began running up and down the hall.. maybe it was to make sure all their dog friends were gone, or it was to make sure their mess was hidden, but either way, I’m sure they were excited that Matthew was not home crying, haha. Just kidding, our dogs are in love with the baby boy.

Well, without having you wait any further to view these images, I’ll just get right to it.
