In Home Newborn Photography

Documenting our first week home was truly special. It gave me such a new perspective on photography and the special gift that it is that we get to document this week and look back on these memories one day. We all get newborn portraits done, but, when you’re at home and just doing real life, there’s something special about documenting that. So, that’s what we did.

Matthew’s first week as a big brother and Genevieve’s first week in the world was one to be documented. This little boy loves, “his baby” as he so calls her. He says things like, “My baby is hungry.” “I’m going to do everything for my baby.” Needless to say, they truly have a special bond. Anytime Matthew enters the room she looks right at him, it doesn’t matter what else is going on. She locks eyes with him immediately.
