Taylors Wish : Family Photos

This Family Session was such a rewarding experience, especially after hearing the story about their oldest daughter and how she beat cancer.  It meant so much to me, that I was able to document the love, joy, and laughter of this family being together. I’m so glad that they have these pictures to hand down for generations, and this is truly why I love my career.

Every month we try our best to donate at least one session to a charity. It’s just one of our ways of giving back to our community with something that we value and we believe other families value as well…an amazing Family Photography experience!

Over the summer we donated a gift certificate to Taylor’s Wish foundation. To give the gift of a family session and print of their choice. Needless to say, we met an amazing family out of giving away something so valuable.

When Lilli wrote us we were so excited to meet her and her family. From the notes and details she wrote in her questionnaire to us, I just knew we were going to have a blast.

I try my best to make each session fun and relaxed. After the session was over Lilli said, “We had so much fun working with you! Thank you!” and all of her kids agreed with her. That was music to my ears. :)

Greg, the dad was such a champ. It can sometimes be a little tricky to get the dads to participate in the photos because most dads hate being photographed, but Greg was so relaxed and easy going, which in return helped me produce these beautiful family portraits for their family.

It was such a treat to get to know the Thompson family through their questionnaire, session planning, phone calls and in person, during their session.
