Why should I get family portraits from an Orange County photographer, now?

The question often arises whenever we think about doing something, “Why should I ‘x’?”

It is a valid question and can spur the mind to second guess decisions that could be detrimental to your well-being. For instance, asking yourself that question before you go and blow all of your money at a casino is a good idea; it can save your family from suffering for your losses.

So, naturally, the question arises when you think about spending money on family portraits. You inevitably ask yourself, “Why should I spend money on getting family portraits done?” I want to answer that question for you, but first let’s take a moment and think about the things that have happened in the world lately.

In an instant, terrorists in France invaded a concert and struck down people who weren’t expecting it. Those men, women, and children, weren’t in the heat of battle, nor were they fighting for a cause. They were simply enjoying life.

20,000 people die of cancer each and every single day, leaving behind their families, friends, and lives that they had been building.

If you Google, “20 year old dies in his sleep”, you will find various articles on young adults who have died in their sleep for no apparent reason at all.

All of that to say that life is short. We can go to sleep tonight and not wake up in the morning for whatever reason. How does that change your perspective on life?

I look at all of that and as an Orange County photographer, I come to the conclusion that I want to make my life count and I want to leave a legacy so that the ones I leave behind can remember me for who I was. I want to make sure to spend my money and my time on my legacy because that is the only thing that I can leave behind. Do you resonate with that too?
