Cooper’s Blog :: A blog dedication to Mr. Cooper Vaughn

A few words from Coopers Mom:

“This week I learned my beloved and adorable doglet Cooper has cancer. It’s pretty widespread and long ago I decided if this day were to come the treatment plan is simply love and extra cookies. He is THE example of live in the moment, play often, sleep when you need to, always get excited when you see someone you love, eat till it hurts (and then have dessert), total forgiveness, snuggling, walk it off, total trust, companionship, and its ok to mark your territory so the world knows “I was here!” We shared a love of convertibles, down comforters, French fries and the beach. I’m grateful for every moment I had and every one I still have.”

I honesty couldn’t have said anything any better or sweeter, sometimes choosing words for something so life changing can be difficult, but his mom said it perfectly….everything her little doglet has been an example of.

Over the last two years I’ve had the privilege of capturing some of Coopers joyous moments.. a few weeks ago we all went out on the sand, and Cooper was let loose, to run about and just enjoy where the water meets the sand.
Here is just an image.. or three that was taken on our last beach hoorah..

Any prayers for Cooper and his mama would be so precious.. I know that Jeremiah & I have wrapped him and his mom up in our prayers every night when we pray for our own dogs’ health.. He has bad days, and he has good days, but if we could just pray for his health and that the good days would outweigh the bad for the rest of his life here, I’m sure that would really help!

We love you Mr. Cooper!
