ADOPTION HEARING

The sun was rising and the coffee was brewing as I headed out to meet the sweetest family!

It has only been a few months since I first photographed this family, and a year that they’ve been a family of four with “little C” into their lives.

However, today marked a very significant, celebratory day that they’ll forever cherish and hold dear to their heart. The official adoption hearing aka The day that “little C” took on the family name and is now legally their daughter. But let’s face it.. this little girl has really been their daughter the minute they took her home. As I’ve seen this family grow and raise little C for the last year… she’s grown in so many ways. It’s amazing to have met her when they first brought her home, and see the huge transformation a year later.. This mom and dad are serious superheros and have so much love to give. I’m so excited for them and this new chapter that they’ve embraced with open arms.

Today marks the day that “little C” officially got her forever mommy, her forever daddy, and the funniest big sister around. She will be forever blessed and cherished with this wonderful family of four!

This Dad told the judge he was periscoping aka live streaming the adoption hearing! Haha.

Also, look at little C’s mom! You can just feel the joyfulness from her smile!

More judges should be like this one.. She was so happy, kind, and pretty funny.
